Departure for Toirano in the hinterland between Albenga and Finale Ligure. Visit to the caves. Afterwards possibility to visit the historical centre of the medieval village of Toirano and the Ethnographic Museum. Possibility of lunch in Toirano or Alberga. In the afternoon, visit of the historical centre of Alberga, a medieval town dating back to the 16th century. The baptistery, the Old Towers and the Ancient Walls still bear witness to its ancient origins as a seaside town. Visit to the baptistery (on request) from the late Roman period. Possibility to also visit the naval museum and the recently restored civic tower (ticket on request). Then on to Alassio and free time at leisure to see the famous “muretto” and stroll along the “Budello” and the seaside promenade.

Caves of Toirano

they are located in Toirano, in the hinterland between Alberga and Finale Ligure. The complex, opened to the public in 1953, is one of the major attractions of the hinterland of the Western Ligurian Riviera, with a number of visitors exceeding 110,000 a year. After the visit it is possible to visit the historic center of Alberga and/or Alassio.
