Full-day excursion dedicated to discovering the ancient villages that make up the Cinque Terre. Declared a Unesco World Heritage Site, this kingdom of nature and wild scents forms one of the most unspoilt areas of Liguria. Departure by boat to Vernazza, an ancient fishing village with Saracen towers, and continuation to Monterosso al Mare, the most important and well-known tourist centre of the Cinque Terre. Lunch in a restaurant. After lunch, navigation continues to Manarola, which sits on a rocky spur, sheer above the sea; possibility to continue to Riomaggiore by train or boat. Continuation to Portovenere and panoramic visit with of this marvellous fishing village of probable Roman origin. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay. Note: in case of bad weather conditions, the excursion to the Cinque Terre could be partly or entirely by train.
