Arrival in Albenga, a medieval town from the 16th century. Visit to the historic centre and the late-Roman baptistery (ticket not included, on request). From Albenga we continue inland through the beautiful Arroscia Valley to Pieve di Teco. This ancient inland village, capital of the Arroscia Valley, still retains almost intact the structure of the medieval village, characterised by its typical Gothic porticoes. Possibility of lunch in Pieve di Teco and Imperia. At the end of the visit, continuation to Imperia through the Impero Valley. In Imperia, visit of the olive museum in Oneglia (separate entrance) and the “Parasio”, the historic centre of Porto Maurizio. Imperia owes its name to the Impero river, which separates Oneglia from Porto Maurizio, once rival villages, now merged into a single municipality.
