Breakfast at the hotel, meeting with the guide. Morning dedicated to visiting the old town of Sanremo: La Pigna, the Russian Church and the Casino. Possibility to visit the market on Tuesdays and Saturdays. In the afternoon, continuation by bus along the Via Aurelia towards the hinterland. Along the coastal road and through the villages of Ospedaletti and Bordighera we reach Dolceacqua, an ancient medieval village dating back to the 12th century, famous throughout the world for its Doria Castle and its Romanesque humpback bridge. Possibility to visit a winery where the famous Rossese di Dolceacqua wine is produced and taste wine and typical local products (artichoke cream, olive cream, dried tomatoes, etc.). At the end, continuation by bus to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Breakfast at the hotel, meeting with the guide and departure by bus to Finalborgo, a hamlet of the municipality of Finale Ligure a few kilometres from the coast, listed among the “Most Beautiful Villages in Italy”. Visit to the village founded in 1100, famous for the excellent state of conservation of its walls, churches, and 15th-century palazzi. The characteristic slate gates are very beautiful. Monuments include the Convent of Santa Caterina, the Basilica of San Biagio and the Aicardi Theatre. In the alleys of the town are small shops and craft workshops where you can find typical local products. Continue on to Noli, a seaside village in a sheltered bay. It too is part of the ‘Most Beautiful Villages in Italy’. The itinerary winds its way through its well-preserved mediaeval historic centre, which preserves the traces of an important history with Porta Piazza, Palazzo and Torre del Comune, Loggia della Repubblica, mediaeval towers and houses, St. Peter’s Cathedral, Piazzetta del Vescovado, Castle and Church of St. Paragorio. At the end of the visit, return by bus to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
